How to Install WordPress

cPanel Softaculous Apps Install

Firstly, log in to cPanel and scroll down until you see the WordPress logo. Click on it and you will be redirected to the Softaculous page.

Fill in Details

Choose your domain name to install WordPress

Fill in your website name and tagline on your website

Fill in your username, password and email. You need to remember this as it will be used to login to the WordPress dashboard.

After that click install.

Login to WordPress

To access your WordPress dashboard you just need to /wp-admin to your domain URL. For example, https://myclassmarketing.com/wp-admin. Then you need to enter your username and password that you create earlier.

Dashboard

The WordPress Dashboard is the first screen that will be seen when you log into the administration area of your blog which will display the overview of the website. It is a collection of gadgets that provide information and provide an overview of what's happening with your blog. You can customize your needs by using some quick links such as writing a quick draft, replying to the latest comment, etc.

Posts

WordPress Posts allow you to create, edit, delete, preview and publish a post.

Media

WordPress Media allow you to upload any type of media to your WordPress site, like jpeg, jpg, png, gif, pdf and many more. Each media uploaded can have its own alt, title, caption and description.

Pages

WordPress Pages allow you to create, edit, delete, preview and publish your webpage. By default, you can use WordPress Gutenberg editor to edit your webpage content and design the way you want for your own website

Otherwise, to fasten your work and reduce the time consume to design a page, you can use a famous page builder in the market to create quality websites. Page builders like Elementor, Divi, Blocksy, Wp Bakery, and many more can be used to design a website, as long you understand to use such products.

Comments

WordPress comments allow you to moderate comments on your website by approving, unapproved and deleting the comments.

Appearance

Appearance is where you choose your website theme, install and manage it. You can choose what type of layout you want to build on your website.

Plugins

Plugins help you to add unique features to an existing website. Plugins extend and enlarge the functionality of WordPress. You can install, delete, and modify the existing plugins.

Users

Every user has their own role in WordPress. Roles are similar to access privileges given to a certain user on the WordPress site. Only the Admin has the ability to assign these permissions.

Tools

Tools section allow you to export or import important file of your WordPress website, and also can check website health in general.

Settings

WordPress setting is used to set the basic configuration settings for your site.
